Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
Your BAH will be used in one of two ways. You can either rent on base or you can live off base. If you live off base, you can either rent or buy. Click Here for current BAH rates.
On Base Housing ( Rent On-Base )
You can contact the housing office at 202-404-6828. Please keep in mind that there is a process involved in renting on Base housing to include wait times.
Off Base Single Family Rentals-You can choose to rent off base if you wish. Check our database for available single-family homes.

Home to the 11th Wing -- "The Chief's Own" -- Bolling Air Force Base is situated on east bank of the Potomac River in our nation's capital. As the command element for the U.S. Air Force Band and U.S. Air Force Honor Guard, "The Chief's Own" provides unrivaled ceremonial, musical and funeral operations worldwide and represents the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force at events in support of Headquarters Air Force, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the White House.
As the host wing for Bolling, "The Chief's Own" also provides superior base operating support to its assigned personnel, 19 tenant units and approximately 36,000 Airmen and their families in the National Capital Region and 152 countries worldwide. In addition, the 11th Wing organizes, trains and equips Airmen for Air and Space Expeditionary Force deployments when tasked, for military support of civil authorities when asked and for contingency response operations when needed.
