Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH) is provided by the military to help active service members with housing costs, and can be used for either on- or off-base housing.

• Either The Housing Management Office for JB Anacostia-Bolling  (202) 685-1187 or The Housing Services Center for Anacostia (202) 685-1187 will be your first point of contact after you receive moving orders. They're available to help with your housing needs and provide services such as assisting with lease agreements, tenant-landord disputes and off-base housing referrals.

• Contact the Unaccompanied Housing Office (202) 230-2474 for information about the room assignment process at this location.

• JB Anacostia/Bolling on-base housing is privatized. To check availability for housing that suits your family's needs, contact Hunt Military Housing - Bolling (202) 562-2631 / (888) 294-8338. They offer 3-4 bd homes based upon rank and family size. The home amenities can include: Stainless steel appliances, central A/C, washer/dryer hookups and a utility allowance. The community amenities include: Swimming pool, splash park, softball field, dog park and fitness center.
